How to Use Our Mockups?

At Mélange, we offer high-quality mockups that are easy to use and designed to enhance your creative projects with style and originality. Follow these simple steps to get the most out of them.

1.  Download the Mockup

After your purchase, you will receive an email with a link to the Dropbox archive.

From there, you can download the folder containing the PSD file and the JPEG file.

2. Open the File in Photoshop

Our mockups are compatible with Adobe Photoshop. Open the PSD file to access the editable layers.

3. Find the ‘CHANGE THESE DESIGN’ Layer

In the Photoshop file, you will find a layer called “CHANGE THESE DESIGN.” 

This is where you can insert your design.

4. Insert Your Design

👉🏻Double-click on the ‘CHANGE THESE DESIGN’ layer.

 

👉🏻A new tab will open where you can upload your artwork, logo, or branding.

 

👉🏻Resize and adjust the design as needed.

 

👉🏻Save and close the ‘CHANGE THESE DESIGN’ tab.

5. Customize the Look

You can further refine the mockup by adjusting shadows, lights, and background. 

Additionally, you can change the color of the object in the mockup by simply clicking on the ‘Texture/Color’ layer and selecting the preferred hue. 

Our files include editable layers to ensure maximum flexibility.

6. Export the Final Image

Once you’re satisfied with the result, export the image in the desired format (JPG, PNG, etc.) by going to File > Export > Save for Web.

01.   Do I need Photoshop to use these mockups?

Yes, our mockups are designed for Adobe Photoshop and require basic knowledge of Smart Objects.

02.   Can I use the mockups for commercial projects?

Yes, you can use our mockups to present your designs to clients, enrich your portfolio, create promotional materials, and publish content on social media. 

However, you may not resell, redistribute, or share the mockup files, either in their original or modified form.
